Navratri puja

Navratri Puja is a major Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of the Goddess Durga and her nine forms. It spans nine nights and is celebrated with fervor across India and in various parts of the world. The festival typically occurs twice a year, with the major one taking place during the months of September to October (depending on the lunar calendar) and the other one, known as Chaitra Navratri, occurring around March or April.

Navratri means "Nine Nights" and during these nine nights, Goddess Durga is worshipped in various forms, each form representing different aspects of power, prosperity, knowledge, and victory over evil.

The festival culminates with Dussehra or Vijayadashami, which marks the triumph of good over evil, symbolized by the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana, and Durga's victory over the buffalo demon Mahishasura.
